Greetings! My name is Anthony, aka GM Silverbeard. This site is where I share my thoughts, experiences, and creations pertaining to the most supreme of pastimes: roleplaying. More specifically, table-top roleplaying.

The word “Games” in the site name serves as both a noun and a verb. I design game sessions and content, and I try to game as much as I can these days with friends old and new.

I’ve been roleplaying since around 1988. I’m generally a “Forever Game Master,” one who spends the majority of his RPG time behind screens devising ways to challenge players and slay their characters.

I’ve run and played a range of classic RPGs, everything from multiple versions of D&D and AD&D (and many of their retroclones) to Castles & Crusades, Rifts, Amber Diceless Roleplaying, and more. These days, I’ve been running newer games like Shadowdark from The Arcane Library and the Alien RPG from Free League Publishing, among others.

I welcome everyone at my table. It is a place where the game itself holds primacy, and everyone is united in their love of this unique endeavor, one that merges our most primal needs for community and mythic stories with the desire to challenge ourselves and others with games and puzzles.
